1st Launch: Kanpur - Sep 4, 2009

The Rickshaw Sangh Programme was firstly commenced from Kanpur. To launch this programme in Kanpur city an event was organized. In this event Mr. Nagesh Paida (Executive Director- PNB) participated as chief guest. On that day 500 rickshaw pullers attended this programme along with their family. During the programme 500 rickshaws provided to therickshaw pullers. As guest of honor Mr. Anil Sagar (District Magistrate- Kanpur) attended the programme, besides, Mr. Tarun Vij, (Country Director-AIF) and Mr. Hanumant Rawat (Director Livelihoods-AIF) also participated and shared their views on the programme

2nd Launch: Mirzapur - Dec 8, 2009

On Dec, 8 2009 programme commenced in Mirzapur District. The programme wasinaugurated by Mr. K C Chakraborthy (Dy. Governor -RBI). In this big event of financialinclusion of weaker section of the community, Mr. Kamath CMD- Punjab National Bankparticipated as guest of honor. During the programme 500 rickshaw along withcomprehensive social security package provided to the rickshaw pullers

3rd Launch: Lucknow- Feb 1, 2010

With the credit support of SIDBI, Rickshaw Sangh Programme commenced in Lucknow on Feb 1, 2010. Mr. R M Malla (CMD-SIDBI) inaugurated the programme, he participated in the programme as chief guest. Other eminent persons like Mr. Rewari (DMD-SIDBI), Mr. NK Maini (Executive Director-SIDBI) Mr. Pradeep Kashyap (Vice Chair-AIF), Mr. Sanjai (GlobalCEO-AIF), Mr. Tarun Vij (Country Director-AIF) and other trustees of AIF and delegates from US came participated and shared their opinion about progamme. Total 500 Rickshaws financed to rickshaw pullers on that day.

Buffalo Rearing Programme

BMC designed a product for its borrowers for buffalo rearing; the main feature of this project is organisation is initially providing loan of Rs. 15,000 to the borrowers and after a period of six months another loan of same amount would be made available to purchase another cattle. As per the product design farmer will get milk throughout the year and repayment is designed as per the production of milk.

Organisation intends to make available two milching animal at famers after repaying the loan with in the period of one year. Repayment schedule is designed in such a manner so that borrower can repay it easily during 12 months

Pulse Polio Awareness Programme through Rickshaw Rally

BMC regularly taking social initiative to aware BPL women and their families about theirhealth, education and wealth by i.e. polio awareness program, Rickshaw Rally for awarenessof Polio, Educational program, Financial Educational Program.
